This policy explains what data DriveCarCost.com collects and how it’s used. We built this site to need as little personal data as possible.
Calculators
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter (distance, fuel economy, costs, etc.) are never sent to our servers or stored by us — they exist only on your device, for as long as the page is open.
Analytics
We use standard website analytics to understand which pages and calculators are used, so we can improve them. This may include anonymised or aggregated data such as page views, device type and general location (country/city level, derived from IP address). We do not sell this data.
Cookies
We may use cookies for analytics and, in future, for advertising (see below). You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
Advertising
We intend to run display advertising (such as Google AdSense) on this site in future. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads; you can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser or ad-network settings.
