How UAE fuel prices are set
The UAE Fuel Price Committee announces prices for the following month on or around the last day of the current month, based on average global fuel prices. All four grades (Super 98, Special 95, E‑Plus 91 and Diesel) typically move together, though not always by the same percentage — diesel has moved more sharply than petrol grades in recent months.
We update this page and every calculator on the site within a day of each new announcement. We do not publish a figure until it has been confirmed by a named public source, and we never carry forward an old price silently — if a month’s figure is pending confirmation, it will be marked as such rather than guessed.

Why we publish August’s fuel prices alongside September’s
Most fuel price pages show only the current month, which makes it hard to tell at a glance whether prices are rising, falling or holding steady. Keeping the previous month’s UAE fuel prices visible alongside the current ones lets you see the month-on-month change directly, like the 13.2% diesel jump reflected in the table above, without needing to remember what last month’s number was.

If you’re trying to time a fill-up around an expected price change, UAE fuel prices are announced on or around the last day of each month for the following month, so there’s no benefit to guessing early — the confirmed figure typically appears here within a day of the official announcement.
